4 Application
Programme Start
After you have stuck the electrodes
or
, onto the corresponding body
areas, turned the device on using the ON/OFF button
and selected the pro-
gramme, start the training by pressing the intensity regulators
for the indi-
vidual exit channels.
By pressing the arrows pointing upwards on the corresponding keys you can
increase the intensity of the programme for each electrode. Press the downward
arrows to reduce the intensity. The intensity can be increased from the lowest
level 1 to the highest level 15. The level chosen is shown on the display
next
to the exit channel
.
NOTE
Check your settings frequently. Always select an intensity that
you find pleasant.
You can only increase the intensity when the device emits a
stimulation signal, the intensity can always be reduced. You can
set different intensities for each of the 4 exit channels
. Thus
you can train different muscles with varied intensities.
As soon as you activate the MODE button
for programme selection all
intensities are automatically switched back to zero (0).
During application, the time information next to the egg timer
in the dis-
play shows how many minutes the application still has to run.
The device turns off automatically when the application time comes to an end.
It is then possible to train a different part of the body, however between two
applications to the same part of the body a gap of at least 6 hours is recom-
mended.
Lock key
The device has a lock key
which hinders that you change your programme
selection and the intensity whilst training by mistake.
Press the lock key
for longer than 3 seconds: The lock key symbol (padlock)
then appears on the display. As long as this symbol is displayed you cannot
change the intensity any more and also not select a new programme. The
device can still be turned off immediately using the ON/OFF switch
.
To release the lock, press the lock key
again for at least 3 seconds.
The BTS Body Toner is supplied with a carrying belt. If you want to use the
belt, just loop it through the belt holder
on the back of the device and
tighten it around your hips so that the device display points upwards and it is
comfortable for you.
