Danger from heat -  re hazard
Do not leave camera in places that are susceptible to considerable increases in
temperature (e.g. a vehicle). The housing and internal parts may be damaged,
which in turn could cause a fire.
Do not wrap up camera or place on textiles. This could produce a build-up of heat
in the camera that can cause deformation of the housing and may represent a fire
hazard.
Hazards of using batteries
Remove batteries from camera if camera is not used for some time.
Do not remove batteries immediately after camera has been used for a longer
period of time. Batteries may become hot during use.
Risk of explosion in case of incorrect changing of batteries or use of wrong type
of batteries.
Only use 1.5 V LR6 (AA) batteries or NiMH rechargeable batteries with the same
specification.
Never expose batteries to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight, fire, etc., as
otherwise danger of fire and explosion. Consequently do not store batteries near
fire, stoves or other sources of heat.
Never store batteries at temperatures below 10oC or over 40 oC .
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Never store or transport batteries in pockets or toolboxes or similar, where there is
a danger of the batteries coming into contact with metal objects.
Batteries may not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, excessively discharged,
deformed or taken apart, as otherwise risk of fire and explosion.
Never touch leaking batteries without respective protection. If hands come into
contact with battery acid, wash with plenty of water and soap.
Avoid battery acid coming into contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes,
rinse eyes with plenty of water and contact doctor immediately
Batteries must be disposed of in line with the Battery Directive.
Injuries and material damage
Only place camera on sturdy surfaces. The camera could otherwise fall or topple
over, causing damage or injury.
