4. Introduction
The MAGINON® WK 1 is a wildlife and surveillance camera with a 3-zone infrared
sensor detecting sudden changes in ambient temperature within an evaluation area.
The signals of the highly sensitive PIR (passive infrared sensor) activate the camera,
triggering photo or video recordings.
Features of MAGINON® WK 1 wildlife and surveillance camera:
• 5 mega pixels CMOS sensor.
• Sharp and clear color day-time images and clear black & white night-time images.
• Very low power consumption in standby mode. Extremely long operating time (in
standby mode up to three months with 4 AA batteries and up to 6 months with
8 AA batteries)
• The unique design of the sensor off ers a wider angle of detection and improves the
camera´s response time.
• Can be used under extreme operating conditions from -30°C to 70°C.
• Compact design (approx. 13.4 x 8.4 x 4.8 cm without tree  xing). Ideally suited for
covert use .
• Impressive triggering time (0.8 seconds).
• Extremely simple set-up and alignment of camera due to easy-to-use mounting
strap.
• The serial number function permits encoding of the location on the images. This
allows users of several cameras to easily identify the location when viewing photos.
• Date, time, temperature and lunar phase can be included on images.
• Can be locked and password protected.
• Alarm in case of low battery power.

• Wildlife or incident monitoring.
• Motion-triggered security camera for domestic, offi ce and public areas.
• Any internal/external surveillance requiring evidence of trespassing.
