Mixer Reference
The LynxONE Mixer provides complete software control of the audio features of the
LynxONE and an indication of signal level during recording and playback. This section
describes the function of each menu and control of the mixer.
Mixer Menu
With one LynxONE installed in your computer the first selection in the Mixer Menu
will be “LynxONE Mixer” proceeded by a check mark. With more than one LynxONE
installed in your computer, the Mixer Menu will list each LynxONE with a numeric
suffix, and allow you to select which card is being controlled by the Mixer application.
A check mark will appear next to the currently selected LynxONE. Refer to the section
on “Configuring Multiple LynxONE’s” for a more information regarding the use of
multiple cards.
About Mixer – Shows the mixer version and date and the serial number and manufacture
date of the LynxONE selected.
Exit – Closes the mixer window and exits.
Settings Menu
Monitor Off Play – Enables or disables automatic input monitor muting during
playback. When enabled, and a wave device begins playback, input monitoring
for that device is turned off. Input monitoring returns to it’s previous state when
the wave device stops playback. When disabled, no extra action is taken when a
wave device begins playback.
Monitor On Record – Enables or disables automatic input monitoring during recording.
When enabled, input monitoring for all devices is turned on during audio recording.
Input monitoring returns to it’s previous state when the recording stops. When
disabled, no extra action is taken during recording.
