PREPARING THE NEBULISER FOR USE
Clean and disinfect the nebulisation kit, the mask and mouth piece before using it
for the rst time after buying it. Clean and disinfect the nebulisation kit, the mask and
the mouth piece before using it if the device has not been used for a lengthy period or if
several people use the same device.
For cleaning and disinfecting instructions, consult the appropriate chapter of these
instructions for use.
Make sure that the air lter is changed regularly.
Consult the section on “Changing the air lter”.
1. Remove the nebulisation
kit cartridge.
2. Remove the top section of the drug
reservoir’s inhalation system.
a) Turn the top part of the
inhalation system in an
anti-clockwise direction.
b) Lift the top section of the
inhalation system to remove
it from the drug reservoir.
3. Add the appropriate volume
of the prescribed drug to
the drug reservoir.
The capacity of the drug
reservoir is between 2 and 10ml.
The scale markings that appear
on the nebulisation kit are shown for
reference only. Please use the scale
markings on your syringe or bottle
for accurately measuring the drug.
4. Check that the spray cap is
correctly xed to the top part
of the inhalation system.
5. Fix the top section of the inhalation
system to the drug reservoir.
a) Place the top section on the
drug reservoir, as illustrated.
b) Turn the top part of the inhalation
system in a clockwise
direction and align it with the
drug reservoir until they click
into place, as illustrated.
6. Fix the cartridge to the top
section of the inhalation system.
7. Place the batteries (4 AA 1.5V – not
supplied) in the container provided
for this purpose or connect the
USB cable supplied with the
nebulisation kit and an adapter
of 1.0A minimum (not supplied).

8. Fix the accessory
required to the top section
of the inhalation system.
a) Fix the child’s or adult’s
mask to the top section of
the inhalation system.
b) Fix the mouth piece to the top
section of the inhalation system.

9. Fix the air tube.
a) Loosely screw the air tube bracket
and insert it rmly into the air tube
connector on the compressor.
b) Loosely screw the air tube bracket
and insert it rmly into the air tube
connector on the drug reservoir.
ON/OFF
Check that the air tube is
correctly attached to the compressor
and nebulisation kit and that it
does not become loose. When you
insert the air tube plug into the air
tube connectors, screw it loosely
to prevent the air tube becoming
disconnected when in use.
Make sure that you do not
spill the drug when you are
attaching the air tube. Keep
the nebulisation kit upright.
Use the nebulisation kit
bracket as a temporary support
for the nebulisation kit.
