Het voordeel hiervan is dat vooral 16 bits Windows 3.x program-

ma’s, die geen modems herkennen, ook met de ISDN-pc-kaart

kunnen communiceren. Automatisch wordt de eerste vrije poort

op uw pc geselecteerd. Als u dit wilt veranderen, kiest u gewoon

een andere optie.

Capi 2.0 Scherm

Capi is een standaard ISDN-interface waardoor programma’s

onafhankelijk van de gebruikte ISDN-pc-kaart met die kaart kun-

nen communiceren. De zgn. Capi-drivers zijn kaartspecifiek en

worden bij veel ISDN-pc-kaarten meegeleverd. Een programma

dat geschikt is voor Capi kan met elke ISDN-pc-kaart werken die

een Capi-driver heeft. Het is aan te bevelen deze optie te selecte-

ren. Bij de Express setup wordt Capi-standaard geïnstalleerd.

Dit laatste scherm laat u nogmaals de door u geselecteerde instel-

lingen zien. De items ‘Eicon ISDN channel 0 en 1’ zijn de twee

kanalen van de WAN Miniport driver voor toegang tot Internet en

netwerken. Als u iets wilt wijzigen, kunt u op ‘Back’ drukken om

terug te gaan.
