RNA-modem scherm
In het volgende scherm wordt u gevraagd of u de RNA-modem
wilt installeren. Het RNA-modem werd gebruikt met Microsoft
ISDN Accelerator Pack 1.0. Met de huidige Accelerator packs 1.1
en 1.2 is dit modem niet meer nodig.
Daar tijdens de installatie van de Net.Card I

Accelerator Pack 1.1
wordt geïnstalleerd moet u dit modem niet installeren.

X.75 is een ISDN-protocol dat vooral gebruikt wordt voor het
maken van verbindingen met ISDN-BBS’en, databanken en recht-
streekse verbindingen tussen twee pc’s. Als u het hokje
‘Install this modem’ selecteert, worden de onderstaande opties
beschikbaar. Kies de optie ‘Optimizing for Hyperterminal
Z-modem’ als u contact maakt met ISDN-BBS’en met het
Z-modemprotocol.
De optie ‘ISDN-number for this device’ zorgt ervoor dat als
u dit modem gebruikt, de telefoonkosten, op uw nota op dit
nummer geboekt worden.
De optie ‘Allow incoming calls’ zorgt ervoor dat andere computer
kunnen inbellen op uw pc met dit protocol. Lees de documentatie
voor uw Windows’95 dialup server of NT server na voor het
gebruik hiervan.
