Combine las manzanas, el limón y el azúcar granulada. Coloque la mezcla
a un lado.
Coloque todos los ingredientes restantes exceptuando la costra de pastel en el
tazón para mezclar. Instale el tazón y la batidora plana en la mezcladora. Pase
a la Velocidad 2 y mezcle hasta que la mezcla quede migajosa. Coloque la
mezcla a un lado.
Ruede la repostería hasta formar un círculo de 13 pulgadas. Transfiera a una hoja
para hornear (no importa si la repostería cuelga sobre el borde de la hoja para
hornear).
Coloque cuidadosamente las manzanas en el centro de la repostería, dejando un
borde de masa de 2 pulgadas en todos los lados. Rocíe las manzanas con la
mezcla de azúcar y canela. Doble la repostería sobre el relleno, doblando según
sea necesario para envolver bien alrededor de las manzanas. Presione
cuidadosamente la masa contra el relleno, reforzando la forma.
Hornee a 400°F hasta que la repostería se dore y las manzanas se suavicen,
durante aproximadamente 30 minutos. Enfríe la tarta en la bandeja para hornear
sobre una rejilla durante 10 minutos; sírvala caliente.
