Snooze

The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm for 9 minutes. To do so, press the Sleep but-

ton on the unit once while the alarm is active. The alarm will stop and come on again after 9 minutes.

The remaining snooze time will be shown in the display.

To cancel this function, press the AL1 (or AL2, depending upon which alarm is active) button once

again.

Countdown Timer

The unit has a countdown timer which is convenient for cooking and baking where timing is necessary:

1. While the unit is in standby mode press the

Timer button on the unit or press and hold for 2

seconds the Timer button on the remote control to enter the timer setting.

2. Select a desired time from 0 - 180 minutes using the Tuning / buttons on the unit or the

/ buttons on the remote control (press and hold the resp. button for faster setting).

3. Once you have reached the desired time, press the

Timer button again to start the countdown

timer.

4. The display will switch back to clock display while a timer symbol will be shown in the display.

Once the countdown is nished a buzzer will sound for approximately 1 minute.

To manually stop the countdown buzzer, press the

Timer button once.

Notes:

• To check how much time is left on the countdown, briey press the

Timer button.

• To cancel or change the countdown timer, briey press the

Timer button to show the remaining

time and press the button once again. You can now change the time using the Tuning /

buttons on the unit or the / buttons on the remote control. Set “0” to cancel the timer.

Sleep Timer

The sleep function enables you to set a timer after which the unit will turn itself into standby mode

automatically.

• While in any playback mode, press the Sleep button on the unit or remote control repeatedly to

set the desired time.

• You can select between 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes. “zZ” will be shown in the display.

• To check how much time is left on the set timer, press the Sleep button once.

• To cancel the sleep function, press the Sleep button repeatedly until “Sleep off” appears in the

display. The “zZ” symbol will disappear from the display.

DAB+ Radio

1. Switch the unit on as described previously.

2. Select the DAB+ radio mode by pressing the

Source button on the unit repeatedly or by

pressing the DAB button on the remote control.

When the unit is switched into DAB mode for the rst time, it will automatically tune for available

stations.

You can also do a full scan by pressing the Scan button on the remote control.

3. Scroll through the found radio stations by pressing the Tuning / buttons on the unit or the

/ buttons on the remote control. To select and play a station, press the Scan/Select button

on the unit or the Play/Pause/Select button on the remote control.

Manually Store Radio Stations

This unit enables you to store up to 20 radio stations:

1. Tune to a radio station which you would like to store.

2. Press the Prog button on the remote control.

3. Select a desired preset (1 - 20) on which you want to store the current station by pressing the

or button on the remote control.

4. Press the Prog button to conrm your setting. “Stored” will be shown in the display.

5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to store up to 20 stations.
