PROGRAMMING THE COFFEE-MAKER
Your coffee maker has a 24 hours timing, but the programmed clock remains in the memory as
long as you don‟t modify it.
Check the time displayed on the clock.
Fill the water tank with cold water by lifting the lid. The number of cups can be read on the
graduated water tank.
Swing the filter holder and insert a filter in it.
Add the desired quantity of ground coffee. Replace the filter holder, making sure it is
placed correctly. Close the lid of the water tank.
Push on the “PROGRAM” button until the " " sign starts to flash showing the time “6:00”.
Set the required time when you want the coffeemaker to start while pressing the buttons
“HOUR” and “MIN”.
If the right time is indicated push again the button “PROGRAM”.
The " " sign stops flashing at the left corner and the automatic operation is installed.
If you do not push on the “PROGRAM” button or any other button within 5 seconds the
" " sign disappears and the coffeemaker is not programmed any more (although the
time is saved).
In order to activate the automatic operation press shortly the “PROGRAM” button so that
the " " sign appears.
If you press the “PROGRAM” button the time shortly appears when the coffeemaker is
meant to switch on.
In order to cancel the programmed time press the “PROGRAM” button and the " " sign
disappears.
When your appliance will start at the programmed time the red pilot light will light on,
which means that the appliance has started.
You can switch off your appliance at each time simply by pressing once the ON/OFF
switch.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF OF THE WARMING PLATE
Your appliance is fitted with a device that allows setting the time the warming plate keeps
your coffee hot. Heating can be set for any time from 0 to 4 hours. This device is very useful
if different persons use coffee at different time but also in order that your appliance
switches off automatically after the desired time.
In order to set the warming time press the “ON/OFF” button and keep it pressed. In the
same time press the “HOUR” of “MIN” button to set the warming time.
Attention! The warming time decreases if you push on the “HOUR” of “MIN”, i.e. the
“HOUR” indicate 3, 2, 1, 0, 3, 2, 1, 0, … and the minutes indicate 59, 58, 57, 56, … 3, 2, 1, 0,
59, 58, …
If the required warming time is indicated release the “ON/OFF” button so that the time
can be saved. Afterwards the present time will again be indicated.
You can change the warming time while proceeding again in the same way.
USE COMFORT
When you remove the carafe from this appliance, a non-drip valve will automatically
operate to stop any drops of coffee dripping onto the hotplate. Replacement of the
carafe automatically opens the non-drip valve and allows any remaining coffee to filter
through into the carafe. Pay attention to always replace the carafe on the hot plate
when the appliance is on because if there is too much water in the filter, it will flow over
the filter holder.
