5. 4 AUTOMATIC DEFROST

If the surrounding temperature is low during operation, frost may form in the air conditioner. The device will

automatically start defrosting and the POWER indicator will ﬂash on the display. The defrost control phases are

as follows:

A. While the device works in COOL or DRY mode, the surrounding temperature sensor is able to detect if the

temperature of the device tube is below 1 ° C or if the refrigerant temperature reaches 7 ° C. Following one of

these two conditions, the compressor will stop for 10 minutes, and then restart in COOL mode.

B. While the device is working in DRY mode and once the tube temperature sensor detects that the device

temperature is below 40 ° C and the difference between the tube and room temperature is below 19 ° C, after

20 minutes of air conditioner operation, defrosting will start for 5 minutes and the power indicator will ﬂash.

5.5 OVERLOAD PROTECTION

In the event of a power failure, the machine will be stopped for 3 minutes before restarting to protect it.

6. DRAINAGE

Manual drainage

1) When the machine stops after the water tank is ﬁlled, disconnect the power plug.

2) Place a container under the water outlet at the rear of the product.

3) Remove the cap, the water will automatically ﬂow into the water container.

Note:

1. Keep the cap.

2. During drainage, the conditioner may be tilted slightly backwards.

3. If the water container cannot hold all the water, before it becomes full, quickly close the water outlet with the

cap to prevent the water from ﬂowing onto the ﬂoor or carpet.

4. When the water is completely drained, close the water outlet.

Notes: 1. Restart the machine after closing the water outlet with the cap and replacing the lid, otherwise the

machine’s condensation water will ﬂow onto the ﬂoor or carpet.

Continuous drainage

IThe self-evaporating system uses the collected water to cool the internal parts of

the air conditioner for maximum performance. It is not necessary to empty the

drain tank during COOL mode, except during DRY mode and in conditions of high

humidity. The condensed water evaporates and is expelled through the drain hose.

For continuous or unattended operation during the DRY function, connect the

supplied drain hose. The condensed water can be automatically discharged into

a bucket.

- Turn off the machine before proceeding.

- Remove the water outlet cap and keep it.

- Connect the drain hose correctly and securely and make sure it is free of

obstructions and not kinked.
