5.2 MODE OF OPERATION
The air conditioner has four operating modes: COOL, HEAT, FAN, DRY, SLEEP.
A. COOL
- Select this mode to cool and lower the temperature in the room.
- Press the MODE button on the panel until the COOL indicator lights up.
- Press the UP / DOWN button to adjust the temperature displayed on the screen. The temperature can be set
between 16 ° C and 32 ° C.
- Press the SPEED button to set the desired fan speed.
- To control the airflow direction, manually adjust the wings.
Note: The air conditioner stops if the room temperature is lower than the selected temperature.
B. HEAT
- Select this mode to heat and raise the temperature in the room.
- Press the MODE button on the panel until the HEAT indicator lights up.
- Press the UP / DOWN button to adjust the temperature displayed on the screen. The temperature can be set
between 16 ° C and 32 ° C.
- Press the SPEED button to set the desired fan speed.
- To control the airflow direction, manually adjust the wings.
Note: The drainage hose should be attached to the unit for continuous operating.
C. FAN
- Press the MODE button on the panel until the FAN indicator lights up.
- In this mode, the surrounding air is circulated, but it is not cooled.
- Press the SPEED button to set the desired fan speed.
D. DRY
- Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote control until the DRY indicator lights up. Fan speed cannot
be selected. The user must connect the hose to the drain outlet at the bottom of the unit.
Note: In this mode, the fan speed switches to low speed and cannot be changed.
D. SLEEP (this function can only be set with the remote control)
SLEEP mode can only be activated in COOL mode.
• In COOL mode:
After 1 hour the preset temperature is increased by 1 ° C, and after another hour the temperature will increase
again by 1 ° C.
• In HEAT mode:
After 1 hour the preset temperature is decreased by 1 ° C, and after another hour the temperature will decrease
again by 1 ° C.
Then the temperature is kept constant for 10 hours. And all the indicators dim to dark. The fan speed may switch
over to low speed for silent operating and cannot be selected.
5.3 TIMER SETTING (1 hour-24 hours):
The timer has two modes of operation:
To turn off
(When it’s working)
Push Timer to activate the timer function. Push Up/Down to set to turn off..
To turn on
(When it’s not working)
Push Timer to deactivate the timer function.. Push Up/Down to set to turn on.
Cencel the timer Push Up/Down until the display shows “00”.
Note: when you push POWER the timer gets deactivated.
