CLEAN AND MAINTENANCE
You get a cup of cappuccino when you top up a cup of espresso with frothed milk. Method:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the wall outlet.
2. Make sure the appliance has completely cooled down.
3. Simply wipe the steam wand and exterior with a clean, damp cloth or sponge. Use a pin to
clean the nozzle head and air holes in the steam wand sleeve. Do not use any abrasives or
metal scourers as this will damage the nish of the unit.
4. The portalter and water tank should be washed after each use by rinsing them under water.
To keep the portalter clean, you are recommended to periodically run the machine with
the empty portalter in place. Should the holes of the portalter basket become blocked by
coee grinds, use a ne bristled brush to clean it. When your coee maker is not in use, it is
recommended to take o the portalter from the machine as this will help the lifespan of the
gasket.
5. Remove the drip tray from the appliance and remove any spilt coee and water. Then, clean
them with a damp cloth or a damp sponge.
6. You must clean the steam wand and steam wand sleeve after each use. Place the steam wand
in a jug or mug and release the steam to clear any remaining milk out of the steam running
water to remove excess milk. If the steam wand becomes blocked, use a small pin to clean
more thoroughly.
WARNING: Steam from the steam wand is extremely hot and can cause scald.
NOTE: Do not clean with alcohol or solvent cleanser. Never immerse the housing in water for
cleaning. Never wash your coee machine accessories in a dishwasher.
DESCALING
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2. Make sure the appliance has cooled down completely.
3. Remove the water tank and drip tray from the appliance.
4. Fill water tank with water and descaler dissolved solution to the MAX level(Please refer to the
instruction of descaler for the right proportion of water and descaler). Please use “household
descaler”, instead of industrial descaler.
5. Install the water tank back to the appliance.
6. Make sure the portalter is not installed. Place an empty container under the brewing head.
7. Plug the appliance in.
8. Press the power button and wait for the coee button indicator light become solid green color.
9. Press the coee button, descaling starts. Repeat it multiple times, empty the container if
needed. Stop until more than half of the water tank is discharged.
10. Place the steam wand into a container and slowly turn the steam control knob until water
dispenses. Keep dispensing to ll the container, empty the container if it is full. Repeat the
process until the water tank is empty.
11. Immediately rell the water tank with clean water and repeat the process to ush the system.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
