RÉGLAGE DU CÂBLE D’EMBRAYAGE D’AVANCEMENT

Mesurer le jeu [1] sur le côté de la manette [2] comme illustré. Le jeu doit être compris entre 1 et

5 mm.

Le cas échéant :

1. Desserrer les écrous de blocage [3] avec une clé de 10 mm et déplacer le tendeur vers le

haut ou le bas comme nécessaire.

2. Resserrer les écrous de blocage et revérifier le jeu.

3. Démarrer le moteur à l’extérieur et faire fonctionner la manette d’embrayage. Vérifier que

l’embrayage s’engage et se relâche correctement

1. Positionner le levier de changement de vitesse sur la position la plus rapide.

2. Desserrer les contre-écrous [3] avec une clé de 10 mm.

3. Visser ou dévisser le tendeur [4] de façon à obtenir un jeu [1] de 1.5 à 6.5 mm au levier

d’embrayage [2].

4. Positionner le levier de changement de vitesse sur la position la plus lente.

5. Engager l’embrayage d’avancement de la tondeuse et vérifier que celle-ci ne se déplace pas.

NOTE

: Si l’embrayage ne s’engage pas correctement alors que le réglage du câble est correct,

il est possible qu’une réparation soit nécessaire. Faire vérifier la tondeuse à un concessionnaire

agréé Honda.

MAINTENANCE

CLUTCH CABLE ADJUSTMENT

Measure the free play [1] on the side of lever [2] as shown. It must be between 1 and 5 mm.

If necessary:

1. Slacken locknuts [3] using a 10 mm spanner and move the adjuster up or down as required.

2. Retighten the locknuts and recheck the free play.

3. Start the engine in the open air and operate the clutch lever. Check that the clutch engages

and disengages correctly.

1. Set the shift lever to the faster position.

2. Slacken locknuts [3] using a 10 mm spanner.

3. Screw or unscrew the adjuster [4] to obtain free play [1] between 1.5 and 6.5 mm on the clutch

lever [2].

4. Set the shift lever to the slower position.

5. Engage the drive clutch lever and check the mower doesn’t go forward.

NOTE:

If the clutch does not engage correctly even when the cable is correctly adjusted, the

system may need to be repaired. Take the mower to an approved Honda dealer.
