l) Thesensorlocatedinsidethedashboardturnsontheheadlights

automatically(inmodelswhereincluded)afterapproximatelyfew

ofdarkness andturnsthem offafterfewsecondsoflight.

– Toavoidunnecessaryuseofthem,keeptheareanearthesen-

sor clean and do not place rags or objects on the dashboard.

m) Therearetwotypes ofsoundwarnings:

– continuous theelectroniccard’sprotectiondevice

hascutin;

– intermittent warningthatthe grass-catcheris full.

4.21 CLUTCH /

BRAKE

PEDAL

This pedal has a

dualfunction:during

the first part of its

stroke, it acts as a

clutch, engaging

and disengaging

drivetothe wheels,

and in the second

part it acts as a

brake on the rear

wheels.

The grass-catcher may be emptied by

pressingthepush-button (4.9.2),keeping

it pressed until the control motor stops.

4.10 "MULCHING" ENGAGELEVER

"Mulching"is engagedwiththe

lever.

theblades disengaged.

 Withthe"mulching"functionengaged,alwayshavetheexit

guardsfittedgrasscatcherorstoneguard 5.3.5.

4.11 INDICATORLIGHTS ANDSOUNDWARNINGS

ONTHE DASHBOARD

a)The display comes on

when the key is inserted

(4.4):

– itindicatesthebatteryvolt-

age in the «ON» position,

before starting the engine;

– itindicatestheengine’sto-

tal operation time in the

«ON»position,withtheen-

ginestarted;

– ablinkingdecimal point(.)

indicates that the counter

isworking.

The warning lights come on

when the key is in the «ON»

position andstay onsimulta-

neously for approximately 2

seconds(incombinationwith

an intermittent warning so-
