Please ensure that the speakers are of the correct impedance and power rating before
attempting to connect to any of the audio sockets (please refer to technical data)
Use one of these connections to connect
your TV to external equipment such as a DVD,
LaserDisc or Compact Disc player.

The speaker terminals are used to connect
external speakers for which no amplifier is necessary
REAR RIGHT is for the rear right external speaker,
and REAR LEFT is for the rear left external speaker.
Connect the BLACK lead to the BLACK sockets
Connect the STRIPED lead to the RED sockets.

These sockets are used in conjunction with an
external amplifier. Their volume output can be
controlled via the main volume control and also the
Speaker Setup menu - see Speaker Setup in the
program, sound and vision adjustment
section.

The plastic dust cap protecting the optical
digital in socket has to be removed before
connection with external equipment.
DO NOT THROW THE DUST COVER AWAY.
KEEP THE DUST COVER AWAY FROM
YOUNG CHILDREN.
This is used to protect the optical digital
connection from foreign bodies.

Please Note:
The REAR LEFT and REAR
RIGHT speakers should have an impedance of 6 -
8Ω. The FRONT LEFT and FRONT RIGHT speakers
should have an impedance of 8Ω.
