Connecting and adjusting
Insert a screwdriver into one of the slots
and turn the feet to the height required.
7. You can adjust the height of the back
foot with the centre adjusting screw. Use
a Phillips-tip screwdriver for this.
8. Check the alignment with a spirit level.
9. Make sure the top edge of the dishwash-
er is level with the bottom edge of the
worktop to prevent it from tipping forward
when you open the dishwasher door.
Screw the dishwasher to the kitchen
units

Connecting the dishwasher to
the electricity
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Improper handling of the network connec-
tion may result in an electric shock or short
circuit.
Never use multi-socket adapters, mul-
ti-socket strips, travel adapters or the
like.
We recommend using a pulse-sensitive
residual current device (RCD).
Insert the mains plug in the properly in-
stalled socket (220–240 V~ / 50 Hz, 10 A).
Set the water hardness
Hard water will cause calcification within the
dishwasher. Also, more dishwasher deter-
gent will be required to clean the dishes. Soft
water increases foaming. For this reason, the
degree of hardness of the water has to be
determined and adjusted even before the first
use.
Determining the degree of hardness
Take the degree of hardness from the wa-
ter bill or
ask your local water company for the de-
gree of hardness or
determine the hardness level using the en-
closed test strip (see table for result „Hard-
ness level table“ on page EN-26).
