Los buenos y honrados marineros se dedican a navegar
de una isla del tesoro a otra. Sin embargo, Salvador
Barbanegra, el pirata, les pisa los talones para saquear
sus tesoros. Utilizando su barco, el “Sirena Negra”,
Salvador Barbanegra se acerca velozmente y trata de
abordar* a los barcos de los honrados marineros, que
sueltan amarras para hacerse a la mar de inmediato.
De repente, una fuerte ráfaga de viento sopla a su
alrededor y mientras los marineros tensan las velas el
barco surca las aguas. En el último momento consiguen
escapar de las garras de Salvador, el pirata Barbanegra.

En la jerga pirata la expresión “abordar un barco” significa apoderarse del barco
en cuestión. Antiguamente los piratas se acercaban a otros barcos de costado y,
con unos ganchos especiales, atraían al otro barco. A continuación tomaban el
control del barco de sus víctimas y lo saqueaban.
