• For each fairy-tale figure shown on your dwarf card you have
to tap once for the corresponding figure on the fairy-tale card.
If a figure is shown twice, you have to knock twice on that
figure.
As soon as you tapped the third and last figure the other players
start simultaneously searching for the corresponding snatching
card in the center.
Whoever finds the right card quickly places their hand on it. If a
player thinks that this is not the right card, he or she may go on
searching.
Watch out: You can use only one hand and have to keep it on a
card once you have touched that card.
When all players have placed their hands or think that the right
card has been found, you proceed to check to see if each placer
is right.
How to Check:
The “knocker” places the dwarf card face up on the table and
you compare it with the cards covered by the players' hands.
•The player who has placed their hand on the correct card,
takes the dwarf card as a reward. The snatching card stays in
the center.
• If no player was right, there is no reward and the dwarf card
is placed back underneath the pile.
• If the “knocker” didn´t knock correctly, the round is repeated.
The dwarf card is placed underneath the pile and the “knocker”
takes a new dwarf card.

Aim of the Game
Who will be the first to recognize which fairy-tale figures are
knocking at the door and react the quickest?
Preparation of the Game
Spread the 15 snatching cards in the center of the table, within
easy reach of everybody and the side showing the three fairy-tale
figures face up.
Then shuffle the dwarf cards face down, put them in a pile and
place the pile on one side of the table. Get the hammer and the
fairy-tale card ready.
The giant cards are needed for the more difficult variation and
are kept in the game box for this simpler variation.
How to Play
The player who has most recently knocked on a door starts the
game. If you can't agree, the oldest player starts.
You are the first “doorknocker”. Place the fairy-tale card in front
of you and take the hammer in one hand.
Take the card from the top of the pile of dwarf cards and have a
secret look at the three figures shown on the front side.
The fairy tale card shows five figures. Using the hammer, knock
on the three fairy-tale figures shown on the dwarf card you just
looked at.
Important:
• When it comes to knocking, you can determine in which order
and how quickly you want to do it.
