If several players have the same amount of cards, they are joint winners.
3rd game idea:
Little runaway
For 2–5players aged 4+.
Aim of the game:
The animals have hidden on the farm. Who, with a bit of luck and a good
memory, will find them?
Preparation of the game:
Select one card per animal.
These nine cards are placed face down on a pile (1) in the middle of the
table. The remaining nine cards are shuffled face down and put one next
to the other (2).
The dice and counters are not needed.
How to play:
The most curious player starts.
They take the card from the top of the pile and place it face up on the pile.
Then they turn over one of the cards in the middle of the table.
Compare the two cards:
If the same animal appears on both cards, the player takes the card
from the top of the pile and turns the card in the middle face down
again. They then turn over the next card from the top of the pile, and
leave it face up and turn over another card in the middle of the table.
If there are different animals on the cards, turn the card in the middle
of the table round again. The card on the pile is turned round and put
underneath the bottom of the pile. Then it’s the next player’s turn.
End of the game:
As soon as all the animal cards have been collected, the game ends. All
players pile up their cards. Whoever has the highest pile of cards wins
the game.
If several players have the same amount of cards, they are joint winners.
4th game idea:
Place these 9 cards in a circle (1) one next to the other with the colour
squares towards the inside.
Place the remaining nine cards face down in a pile next to the circle.
Then put a game counter on any of the colour squares of an animal card.
The other four game counters are not needed for this game.
How to play:
Play in a clockwise direction.
The hungriest player starts, by taking a card from the pile and putting it
face up in the middle (2) of the circle.
Then they throw the dice.
On the dice appears:
•asmiling face. The player takes the card from the middle, and then
takes a new animal card from the pile and puts it face up in the middle
of the circle. Then it’s the next player’s turn to throw the dice.
•acolour. Put the game counter on the next free square of the colour
shown on the dice. The counter always moves in the same direction as
the animals shown. Now compare the animals:
Does the card in the middle of the circle show the same animal as
the card on which the game counter is standing? In this case the
player can take the card from the middle. Then they uncover a new
animal card and it’s the turn of the next player to throw the dice.
The card in the middle does not show the same animal as the card on
which the counter is standing? It’s the next player’s turn to throw
the dice.
End of the game:
As soon as the
players have taken
all the animal
cards from the
pile, the game ends.
Each player makes
a pile of the cards
they have won.
Whoever has the
highest pile of
cards wins the
game.
