Game 4: The Turtle Run
Whose turtle will reach the target first?
Game Material Needed:
All four turtles, game board, the four turtle cards, the rod.
Preparation of the Game
Spread the game board with the glade stadium face up on the table.
In this game, you always play with all four turles, regardless of how many
players. Each turtle gets a shell of another color than the one of its feet.
Place the turtles on the starting squares.
Cover and shuffle the four turtle cards. Each player secretly draws a card.
This card determines which is their competition turtle (color of the shell).
Get the rod die ready.
If there are two or three players then the unused cards are placed back in
the box.
How to Play
Play in a clockwise direction. The fastest runner among you starts the
game. If you can’t agree the youngest player starts and throws the rod
die.
Move a turtle exactly one square.You can, however, choose which one
you want to move.
Either the turtle …

… the correspondingly colored shell.
Then it’s the turn of the next player to throw the color rod die.
End of the Game
The game ends as soon as one turtle has reached the target.
The players uncover their turtle cards.The winner is the one whose turtle
is shown on the turtle card.
If a turtle that doesn’t belong to any player has reached the target first,
then the winner is the player whose turtle is closest to the target.
In case of a draw there are various winners.
