Game 3: Twiddle Turtle,To and Fro!
Who, with a bit of luck with the die, will gather three animal cards first?
Game Material Needed:
One turtle per player, game board, the 9 animal cards, the die with the
dots.
Preparation
Spread the game board with the glade stadium face up on the table.
Each player takes a turtle, puts the corresponding shell on it and places it
on one of the starting squares.
Shuffle all nine animal cards and get them ready in a pile face down.
Uncover the card on top and get the die ready.
How to Play
Play in a clockwise direction. The biggest player starts and throws the die.
Watch out! You won’t roll your turtles but move them from square to
square and try to move it to the square corresponding to
the uncovered animal.
The moving rules:
• Move your turtle as many squares as dots are shown on the die.You
have to use all the dots.
• At the beginning of the game you may move your turtle in only one
direction.
• During the rest of the game you can move your turtle forwards or
backwards in the same move.
Your turtle lands on the spectator square of the animal uncover-
ed?
As a reward you get the animal card. Put it in front of you and uncover a
new one.Then it’s the turn of the next player.
A card has been uncovered and your turtle stands already on the
corresponding spectator square?
Then you get the card – but not until it’s your turn again and if the card
has not yet been taken. Uncover a new card and move your turtle.
End of the Game
The game ends as soon as a player has collected three cards.They win
this to and fro competition.
