Adjustable Downslope (Euro torch only)

Time needed to shift from welding current to minimum current. Avoids cracks and craters at the end of welding. By default this fea-

ture is set up at 0 sec.

Adjustable Post-Gas (Euro torch only)

This parameter determines the time in which gas is released after the arc has stopped. It protects the weld pool and the electrode

against oxidisation whilst the metal is cooling after welding.

MULTIPEARL 200.2 / 200.4 XL / 201.4 are Class A devices. It is designed to be used in an industrial or professional environment. In a

different environment, it can be difcult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility, due to conducted disturbances as well as radiation.

The device complies with the IEC 61000-3-12 standard.

THERMAL PROTECTION AND GUIDANCE

In thermal protection mode the device stops working. The overheating icon appears on the screen until the machine temperature

is back within normal operating range.

• Ensure the machine's vents are clear enabling air circulation.

• Leave the device plugged in after welding to enable cooling.

In general :

• Respect the basic rules of welding.

• Ensure the air circulation is good.

• Do not work in a wet area.

MAINTENANCE

• Maintenance must be only carried out by a qualied person.

• Turn off the machine then unplug it from the mains. Wait until the fan has stopped before working on the device (DANGER High

Voltage and Currents).

• On a regular basis remove the side cover and clean the dust from the machine. Take this opportunity to have the electrical

connections checked by a qualied person with an insulated tool.

• Regularly check the condition of the power lead. If damaged, it will have to be replaced by the manufacturer, its’ after sales service

or a qualied person.
