Caution
Tighten the height changeover screw completely
(Fig. 17), turn it right completely, (a position
opposite to that in the bench mood)
Fit the chips guard for the trimming and mitre
mood according to the figure under the rotary
bench (Fig. 18). The chip guard is to be hung in
two eyes on the saw bench and than screwed on
at the opposite side with two screws attached.
(Fig. 19). If no extraction facility is used, connect
a chips collecting bag to one of the extraction
outlets. .
Now, the saw is ready to work in trimming
and mitre mode.
Operation
Unplug the unit before any setting of the
saw
Cutting Angle Set-up (Fig. 20+21)
The blade adjustment 0° - 45° may be read
on the scale. By loosening the lock lever
(Fig. 20) and tilting the saw, the cutting
angle may be changed.
The blade adjustment may be changed by
loosening the screw (Fig. 21) and turning
the saw.
Unit Switching on/off
Press “green button I” to switch the unit on. .
Press “red button 0” to switch off.
There is an emergency switch on the machine.
Longitudinal Sections
Se the parallel stop at the required width in
relation to the blade.
Put the piece to be worked on the bearing
area, the wider/flatter end should be seated
on the saw bench flat wise
Caution: Keep the safety distance from the
blade.
Chamfer Cuts
Fasten the piece to be worked according to
the figure using a clamp.
Loosen the lock lever and set up the
required angle.
Be careful to have the splitting wedge
aligned with the blade at any time.
Secure the lock screw again.
Switch the machine on, press the saw down
carefully and cut.
Cross Sections
Insert the transverse stop into one of the two
grooves of the bench and set up the required
angle.
Switch the machine on and use the
transverse stop to move the piece to be
worked to the rotating blade carefully.
Caution: Always hold the piece firmly,
never cut a piece held loosely
Splitting Wedge Set-up (Fig. 17+25)
Loosen the screw on the splitting wedge
(Fig. 25), so that the wedge may be shifted
according the given type of the cut.
Tighten the screw again.
Maximum cuts:
The distance between the bench and the splitting
wedge upper edge ca 10 cm.
Dovetail cuts:
The splitting wedge point 2 mm below the saw
tooth upper point.
The distance between the splitting wedge and the
blade 3-8 mm.
Dovetail Sections
Move the splitting wedge down so that the
splitting wedge point is 2 mm below the top
point of the saw tooth.
The distance between the splitting wedge
and the blade should be 3-8 mm again. .
Insert the transverse stop into one of the saw
bench groove and set up the required angle.
If the blade is to be adjusted askew as well
the groove preventing contact of your had
and the transverse stop with the blade guard
should be used as well.
