Handling
Parallel cut
1. Loosen the stop screw for parallel stop locking.
2. Determine the cut area for 45° + 90° (depending on the auxiliary cut for 45° and 90°). Set the parallel stop and scale,
ensure corresponding cut width.
Caution!
Perform the test cut on waste wood.
Cutting depth
1. Loosen the stop screw for saw shoe locking.
2. Turn the saw shoe down.
Set the cutting depth using the scale. The tooth prong must protrude from the wood by app. 2 mm.
Saw shoe resetting (chamfer cut) (pic. 1)
1. Loosen 2 stop screws (8).
2. Set the saw shoe to the requested number of grades (0°-45°).
3. Tighten the stop screws (8).
Circular saw blade replacement (pic. 1)
1. Hold the flange (6) with a flange wrench.
2. Loosen the hex-screw (5) with a pin wrench.
3. Open and hold the swivelling protection cover (2).
4. Take the flange and circular saw blade down.
5. Clean the flange and insert a new circular saw blade.
Be sure to know the correct running direction (see the arrow on the protection cover).
6. Tighten the hex-screw, ensure uniform running.
Switching on
There is safety switch-on with two A/B buttons. The appliance can only be put into operation when the handle is clasped firmly
and both buttons are pressed down. After releasing the handle the appliance switches off automatically to prevent unintentional
running.
Residual risks and protection measures
Direct electrical contact
A faulty cable or plug can cause life-threatening electric shock.
Always have any faulty cables or plugs replaced by a professional. Use the appliance only with connection with a safety switch
against stray current (RCD).
Indirect electrical contact
Injury by conductive parts at exposed electrical or faulty construction elements.
Always pull the plug out of socket for maintenance. Use the appliance only with connection with a safety switch against stray
current (RCD).
Inadequate local lighting
Insufficient lighting represents a high safety risk.
Always ensure sufficient lighting when working with the appliance.
Disposal

Transport package disposal
The package protects the appliance against damage during transport. Package materials are usually selected in light of
environment friendliness and disposal manner and are therefore recyclable.
Putting the package back to material circulation saves raw materials and reduces waste disposal costs.
Parts of the package (e.g. foils, Styropor) can be dangerous to children. Risk of suffocation!
Keep those parts of the package out of reach of children and dispose them as quickly as possible.
Maintenance instructions
- Keep the appliance, Operating Instructions and any accessories in the original package. By this, you will always have all
the information and parts at your disposal.
- GÜDE appliances are absolutely maintenance-free; just a wet cloth is enough for cleaning the surface. Never plunge the
electric tool into water. Supplementary instructions can be found in the Operating Instructions.
- GÜDE appliances are subject to a strict quality control; if, however, despite this, any function shows any fault, please send
the appliance to our servicing address. The appliance will be repaired at once.
- A brief flaw description will shorten the defect search time and repair time. Attach the guarantee list of the appliance and
purchase document in the guarantee period.
- If it is not a guarantee repair, the repair costs will be charged to you.
IMPORTANT! The guarantee expires by opening the appliance.
- To prevent damage during transport, pack the appliance safely or use an original package.
- We are here for you even after the guarantee period expires – we will repair the GÜDE appliances at a favourable price.
