Protect the appliance and cables against rain and
humidity.
Do not lay the cables to items with sharp edges.
Do not lay the cable in a manner that it was broken in an
acute angle.
Do not pull the cable.
Lay the cable in a manner that there was no danger of
tripping.
Lay the cable in a manner that its damage was
eliminated.
Ensure good ventilation.
Keep minimum distance of 5 cm from other items from
all sides of the charger.
When in operation, keep all items that could be
damaged by high temperature exposure in safe
distance.
Do not use the appliance in an environment with
inflammable gases, e.g. in bilges of gasoline-powered
boats or near propane tanks.
Do not use the appliance in equipment with lead acid
batteries with acid. These batteries release explosive
hydrogen that can ignite by sparking on electrical
connections.
Always switch the appliance off after use.
Never let the charger unattended during charging!
Safety instructions for battery handling
Use charging batteries only.
Danger of injury! Batteries can contain aggressive and
caustic acids. Prevent any contact of your body with the
battery fluid. If the battery fluid yet stains you, wash
properly the appropriate body part with water.
Danger of explosion! Makes sure no metal items fell on
the battery. It could cause sparking or short-circuit on the
battery and other electrical parts.
Danger of explosion! At connecting the appliance,
please be particular about correct polarity – red terminal:
battery positive pole – black terminal: battery negative
pole.
Wear protective glasses and protective clothes when
working with batteries.
Ensure good stability! Both the appliance and charged
battery need to be safely laid to prevent fall or turnover.
Follow the battery manufacturer instructions and those of
manufacturer of the equipment or vehicle in which the
battery is used.
Never try to charge frozen batteries.
Do not smoke and ensure no sparks were generated
near the battery.
If you must remove the battery, disconnect first the
ground. Before removing the battery, remove all
connectors and appliances from the battery.
Never charge two 12V batteries in series at a 24V
position!

No special qualification is needed for use of the appliance
apart from detailed instructions by a qualified person.
Minimum age
The appliance can only be operated by persons above 16
years of age.
An exception includes use by youngsters within preparation
for their job to reach appropriate skills under the supervision
of the trainer.
Training
Corresponding training by a professionally efficient person or
the Operating Instructions are only needed for use of the
appliance. No special training is needed.

Transport and storing
The appliance needs to be well secured against
fall and turnover at transport.
Make sure the appliance was stored at a dry

persons. Clean the appliance properly before

Functions
The charger charges 12 V and 24 V automobile batteries. It is
fitted with safety device against short-circuit, overheating,
overloading and reversal of polarity. The charger is a charger
with UI charging characteristics.
