Guarantee
The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused by material
defect or manufacturing defect.
Original payment voucher with the sales date needs to be
submitted for any claim in the guarantee period.
The guarantee does not cover any unauthorised use such as
appliance overloading, use of violence, damage as a result of
any unauthorised interference or caused by foreign items.
Failing to follow the operating and assembly instructions and
common wear are also not included in the guarantee.
General safety instructions
Please read carefully the below-mentioned safety
regulations and Operating Instructions before you start
working with the appliance. If you give the appliance to use
to other persons, please provide the Operating Instructions,
too. Keep the Operating Instructions for future reference!
Package: The appliance is packed for protection from
damage during transport. Packages are raw materials and
therefore can be recycled or delivered to appropriate
collecting centre.
Please read carefully these Operating Instructions and
follow the instructions included therein. Use the Operating
Instructions to familiarise with the appliance, its correct use
and safety instructions. Store the Operating Instructions in a
safe place for future reference.
Carry out visual inspection of the appliance before
each use. Do not use the appliance if safety equipment
is damaged or worn out. Never put the appliance
safety equipment out of service.
Use the appliance exclusively for the purpose specified
in the Operating Instructions.
You are responsible for safety at your workplace.
Work at sufficient visibility only.
Never let the appliance unattended at your workplace.
If you must interrupt your work, store the appliance at a
safe place.
Never use the appliance when raining or in a humid or
wet environment.
Protect the appliance against humidity and rain.
Keep the running appliance in safe distance from your
body!
Do not switch the appliance on when it is turned or
when it is not in a working position.
Keep the appliance in safe distance from other
persons, especially children and pets.
When you finish working pull the plug out of the socket
and check whether the machine is not damaged.
When the appliance is not used store it to a dry place
inaccessible to children.
Use the appliance as specified in these Operating
Instructions only.
The system voltage must correspond to the voltage
specified on the data label.
At the lead-in cable it is necessary to regularly check
whether there is no sign of damage or aging. The
appliance cannot be used if the lead-in cable state is
not perfect.
If the lead-in cable is damaged, have it replaced at the
manufacturer or professional servicing centre to
prevent a threat to persons.
Use original spare parts at maintenance.
Repairs can only be executed by electricity
professionals.
If you switch the appliance on after any impact, it first
needs to be checked whether there are any signs of
damage or wear and eventually have any necessary
repairs executed.
Never use spare parts and accessories that the
manufacturer does not count with and recommend.
Pull the plug out of the socket before any check,
cleaning or works on the machine and when the
machine is not used.
Use the machine only by daylight or at sufficient
artificial lighting.
Identical regulations apply for accessories.
Güde GmbH & Co. KG does not guarantee any
damage incurred as a result of the following:
- machine damage by mechanical influences and
overvoltage.
- changes to the machine
- use to other purposes than specified in the
Operating Instructions.
All safety instructions need to be followed to prevent
injuries and damage.
Basic safety instructions
Compare the voltage on the type label with the electrical
network.
Make sure no other items could cause short-circuit on
the appliance contacts.
Ensure that the red and black terminal never touch each
other.
Lay all cables in a manner that there was no risk of
tripping and cable damage was eliminated!
Never pull the plug out of the socket with the drop cable.
Disconnect the appliance from the network
- before each cleaning
- after each use
Electrical appliances are no toys! Children are not
able to estimate the danger arising from electrical
appliances. Do not in any case let the children use
electrical appliances.
Persons that are not due to their sensory or mental
abilities or inexperience and lack of knowledge able
to handle the appliance cannot use it.
If the appliance or drop cable shows any visible
damage, it is not allowed to switch it on.
If the appliance power cord is damaged, it needs to
be replaced at the manufacturer or a qualified
electrician.
Repairs of the appliance can only be executed by a
qualified electrician. There can be significant
damage due to unprofessional repairs.
Safety instructions for operation

Never touch the exposed connector with bare arms. That
especially applies for connectors in an alternating
current circuit.
If you work on electric appliances, ensure there is
someone near you to help you in emergency.
The plug must be near the appliance and easily
accessible to be able to quickly disconnect the appliance
from network in emergency.
Make sure the lead-in cable and plug were dry before
putting the appliance into operation.
Be aware that some appliance parts can remain hot
even after safety device (fuse) response.
Put the appliance to a dry place protected against
spraying water.
Protect the appliance against aggressive fumes and air
with humidity or salt.
