Instructions
Before putting into operation it is absolutely necessary to read
the Operation Manual!
Do not reverse the poles!
Correct outlet voltage of invertors with modified sine can be
measured only with alternating voltage measuring device with
right value (TRMS or RMS).
Measuring devices for measuring average voltage value and
are calibrated on sinusoidal voltages indicate too low value.
Field of Use:
The corresponding invertor/voltage changer is suitable for
operation of mobile or stationary appliances by means of
12V board electric power network or by means of an
accumulator. Here it is necessary to distinguish between the
devices with so called modified sine and right sine. 95 % of all
connected devices operate with invertors supplying modified
sine. For special applications, as e.g. mobile refrigerators with
measuring system, compressors for high induction loadings,
electronically controled devices, where the slight interfering
radiation matters etc., the ivertors with right sine are more
suitable.
Advantages of invertors with modified sine:
beneficial price
high peak output
the device is light
the device is sturdy
The appliances to be connected to the invertor with
modified sine are e.g. :
bulbs, cost saving bulbs, fluorescent lamps
electric tools, electric hand tools (without electronic
control)
household appliances, microwave ovens, hair
driers, vacuum cleners, toasters, coffee machines
laptops, desktop computers, game brackets
Home Entertainment, stereo-equipment, TV, home
cinema, audio-equipment
heating, air conditioning (without electronic control)
mobile phone chargers/mobile phones, digital
cameras
printers, matrix and ink printers
Invertors are used in (12V types):
cars (12V types)
trucks/utility vehicles, omnibuses, lorries
boats. ships, sailing yachts
weekend cottages, garden, free time
renewable energy, solar equipments,
small wind-power plants, wind power wheels
camping, caravans, recreation vehicles
car, boat, camping, outdoor, karavan, recreation vehicle,
weekend cottage.
General Safety Instructions
Read carefully the Operation Manual before first use of the
device. Should any doubts related to connection and
operation of the device occur, contact the manufacturer
(service department)..
THIS DEVICE PROVIDES LIFE ENDANGERING
VOLTAGES. THE DEVICE SHALL BE
REPAIRED ONLY BY SPECIALISTS!! IN CASE
OF PROBLEMS CONTACT YOUR
PROFESSIONAL SELLER.
Check the completeness and functionality of the device
before putting it into operation!
Never put into operation the device that is faulty and the
functions of which do not work! Contact the
manufacturer or have the device checked by a qualified
engineer.
Operate always with necessary precaution and care!
Never use excessive force!
This Voltage Changer is furnished with overvoltage
protection that disconnects the device automatically from
the power source as soon as a shortcut or another
electric fault occurs. As soon as the power source is
restored, the Voltage Changer switches on again
automatically.
Never place the device in the vicinity of flammable,
explosive or easy to ignit materials and liquids.
Secure always sufficient ventilation of the device (at the
distance of 3 cm).
Never install the device when driving the car. The
construction of terminals and the length of cables are not
designed for this purpose.
The device shall not be used on positively earthed
electric systems!
The device may be connected with the power source
only when switched off.
The car shall never be in motion when terminals are
used. Before driving on the terminals shall be removed.
Do not use extending cables between the DC voltage
source and DC input of the Voltage Changer. The DC
input connected with an extension cable gives rise to
decrease of voltage and impairs the efficiency degreee.
Therefore we recommend to use the extension cabels, if
necessary, to connect the AC output with the AC device
Use quality extension cablel up to 30 m long. Otherwise
there is a danger of too high decrease of voltage.
CAUTION
In case of troubles, as e.g. shortcut or overloading, the output
is automatically switched off by means of safety circuit. In
such cases:
1. switch off the Voltage Changer immediately
2. disconnect all connected devices from the Voltage
Changer
3. check the devices
4. the devices may be used only after the problems have
been removed
5. keep the Voltage Changer in good environmental
conditions.:
in well ventilated spaces
in safety distance from direct sunshine or another
heat source.
outside the reach of children
in safe distance from water/moisture, oils and fats
in safe distance from flammable materials
in case of faulty connection the entitlement on
guarantee expires.
