Antennas
1 Pull out the telescopic »ANTENNA« for FM (VHF) reception.
Note:
If the FM signal is too strong, it is advisable to push in the telescopic
antenna.
2 The Radio Recorder has a built-in rod antenna for MW reception. Turn
the radio recorder about its own axis to point the antenna.
Selecting the radio as the input source
1 Select the input source with »CD•RADIO•TAPE«.
– The most recently selected station is activated (Last Station Memory).
Selecting the preset position
1 Select the required bandwidth (FM or MW) with »BAND«.
2 Select the preset position with »PRESET UP«.
– Display: for example, »MEMORY 05« and the frequency.
Stereo/mono reception
If the device is receiving an FM stereo station, »ST« appears in the display.
However, if the signal from the FM stereo station is weak, you can improve
the sound quality by switching to mono reception.
1 Use »MONO/STEREO« on the back of the device to switch to mono
reception.
– Display: »ST« disappears.
2 To switch to FM-Stereo set »MONO/STEREO« on the back of the
device to stereo reception.
– Display: »ST«.
