Searching for a passage within a track
1 During playback, press »R-SKIP 8« or »F-SKIP 9« and hold it
down until you find the desired passage.
– When »R-SKIP 8« or »F-SKIP 9« are released, playback begins.
Note:
During the search the volume is reduced.
Calling up the REPEAT functions
The repeat functions enable you to repeat a single track or the whole CD.
1 To repeat a track press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER« once.
– »REPEAT 1« appears in the display and the current track is contin-
uously repeated.
2 To repeat all tracks on the CD press »INTRO/REPEAT/ TIMER« again.
– »REPEAT ALL« appears in the display and the CD is continuously
repeated.
3 To quit this function, press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER« again.
Playing the introductions of tracks on the CD
1 Press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER« when the CD is in the STOP
position.
– Display: »INTRO«.
– Playback starts automatically, and the first ten seconds of each track
are played.
2 To quit this function, press »INTRO/REPEAT/TIMER« three times.
– Display: »INTRO« disappears.
– The current track and subsequent tracks are played to the end.
Playing back tracks in random order
1 Press »PLAY/PAUSE

II« to start playback.
2 Select the function by pressing »PROG/RANDOM/TIME«.
– Display: »RANDOM«.
– The tracks on the CD are played back in random order.
3 To quit this function, press »PROG/RANDOM/TIME«.
– Display: »RANDOM« disappears.
– The tracks are played back in numerical order.
