Antennas
1 For FM stations (VHF) extend the telescopic antenna »ANTENNA«.
Note:
If the FM signal is too strong, it is advisable to push in the telescopic
antenna.
2 The Radio Recorder has a built-in rod antenna for MW/LW reception.
Turn the radio recorder about its own axis to point the antenna.
Selecting the radio input source
1 Select the input source with »RADIO/TAPE/CD« on the device or
»SOURCE« on the remote control.
– The most recently selected station is activated (Last Station Memory).
Selecting the preset position
1 Select desired waveband (FM, MW or LW) with » BAND«.
2 Select the station position in steps with »R-SKIP
8« or »F-SKIP 9«.
– Display: for example, »CH 26« and the frequency.
Stereo/mono reception
If the device is receiving an FM stereo station, »ɳ« appears in the display.
However, if the signal from the FM stereo station is weak, you can improve
the sound quality by switching to mono reception.
1 Switch to mono reception with »FM MODE« on the back of the device.
– Display: »
ɳ« disappears.
2 To switch to FM stereo, set »FM MODE« on the back of the device to
stereo reception.
– Display: »
ɳ«.
Automatic station search
By starting the automatic station search, you can delete all the existing preset
stations and at the same time allocate new radio stations to them.
1 Start the automatic search in Radio mode by pressing and holding
down »PROG/RANDOM/TIME«.
– After the search has finished, the station stored in position 01 can be
heard.
Note:
The automatic station search can be interrupted with »PROG/
RANDOM/TIME«.
