THE LNB CONFIGURATIONS
________________________________
On the following pages the LNB configurations available are explained.
LNB configuration 1
Example
To receive only digital channels from one satellite (e.g. ASTRA).
When connecting the receiver to a single
universal LNB, or to a twin
universal
LNB
, or to a quatro universal LNB (with internal or external multiswitch), with
two oscillator frequencies.
Setting in the »LNB Configuration« menu:
»DiSEqC - - - « (DiSEqC switched off).
LNB configuration 2
Example
To receive digital channels from two satellites (e.g. ASTRA and Hotbird).
When connecting the receiver to two quatro LNBs with four outputs each and
one DiSEqC multiswitch.
A satellite receiver can be connected to each output of the multiswitch.
Selection between two satellites, reception of the low and high frequency ranges
of both satellites.
DiSEqC #1/#2: switching between the two satellites.
V/ H: switching between the vertical/horizontal polarization.
0/ 22: switching between the low (0 kHz) and high (22 kHz)
frequency range.
Setting in the »LNB Configuration« menu:
»DiSEqC #1« (e.g. for the ASTRA satellite), and
»DiSEqC #2 « (e.g. for the EutelSat/Hotbird satellite).
