Baking with the multi-baker...
1. Prepare the batter according to your wishes. You can nd a recipe suggestions in the chapter
“Basic batter recipe”.
2. Insert a pair of plates of your choice in the device (see chapter “Inserting/changing the baking
surfaces”).
3. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant and level surface at a suf cient distance to ammable
objects. If necessary, place a heat-resistant base under the device.
4. Open the lid and if applicable, grease the baking surfaces slightly before baking for the rst time.
5. Heat up the device: Connect it to a properly installed socket. Both control lights will illumi-
nate as soon as the device has been connected to a socket. The device will immediately begin
to heat up. Always keep the device closed when it is heating up.
6. The device reaches its operating temperature after approximately 3 4 minutes when con-
trol light II turns off.
7. Fold up the lid once the device has reached its operating temperature.
8. Place the prepared batter in the moulds in the lower baking surface. The moulds in the lower
baking surface should be adequately lled. The exact amount of batter that needs to be lled
in the baking moulds depends on the consistency of the batter and can best be determined
by performing a test baking cycle. Don't be discouraged if the rst baking attempt doesn't
turn out perfect!
9. Carefully close the cover and let the baked goods bake for approximately 6 – 8 minutes. Make
sure that the locking latch on the cover is locked in place.
10. Open the cover to check whether the baked goods are already baked according to your
wishes or whether they need to be baked more.
11. When the baked goods are done, use wooden or plastic kitchen utensils to carefully remove
them and place them e. g. on a rack so they can cool.
12. Fill the device again to prepare more baked goods.
13. If you do not want to prepare more baked goods, pull the plug out of the socket and let the
device cool off completely while open before you clean and stow it (see chapter “Cleaning
and storage”).
Decorating popcakes
A popcake is a baked good that is stuck on a stick like a lollipop. The popcakes are prepared with
the popcake plates and then decorated.
Popcakes can be eaten plain or with chocolate or another icing.
For best results, let the popcakes cool off before you decorate them.
1. Prepare the icing.
2. Insert the enclosed sticks in the popcake balls.
This works best when you quickly dip the stick in the in the prepared icing before inserting it
in the popcakes. This ensures that the popcake is securely attached to the stick. Let the icing
dry brie y before you decorate the popcake in the next step.
3. Now coat the popcake with icing by dipping it in the icing. Let your imagination decide what
other decorations you need: For example, try adding coloured or chocolate sprinkles for
more decoration.
