GIORDANI CITYWAVE MODULAR SYSTEM (FROM 0 TO 36 MONTHS APPROXIMATELY)
STROLLER
OPENING THE STROLLER
1. As shown in Fig. 1a, pull the folding handle
on both sides, following the direction of the
arrow. At the same time, pull the stroller han-
dle to expand the stroller frame. As shown
in Fig. 1b, push the pedal down completely
in order to lock the frame in position. Check
that the two tubes are fully connected as
shown in Fig. 1c to ensure that it is fully open.
WARNING: When the child is seated, never
pull the closure handle on both sides if the
frame is not locked into position.
ASSEMBLY OF WHEELS
2. As shown in Fig. 2a/2b, insert the front and rear
wheels in the specic housings and these will
be tted correctly only when you hear a “CLICK”.
WARNING: Before use, try moving and rotat-
ing the wheels manually to make sure that
they are all properly tted in their housings.
ASSEMBLY OF HOOD
3. As shown in Fig. 3a, open the seat in the direc-
tion of the arrow. As shown in Fig. 3b, insert the
hood frame in the specic housing on the seat.
It is fully fitted when you hear a “CLICK”. As
shown in Fig. 3c/3d, fasten the snap buttons
and fasten the seat and hood Velcro strap to
complete the assembly as shown in Fig. 3e.
ASSEMBLY AND REMOVAL OF SEAT
4. Assembly: As shown in Fig. 4a, open the seat
completely and insert both side ends in the
specic frame housings (align the arrow indi-
cating the insertion point with the frame rivet).
It is fully tted when you hear a “CLICK”. Be-
fore use, make sure the set is tted properly.
Removal: As shown in Fig. 4b, to release the
lock press the buttons under each armrest and
pull the seat out of the frame at the same time.
WARNING: before use, check that the seat is
correctly secured.
FITTING AND REMOVING THE FRONT SECURITY BAR
5. Assembly: As shown in Fig. 5a, insert the ends
of the safety bar into the appropriate slots on
both sides of the seat at the same time.
Removal: As shown in Fig. 5b, press the front
bar release buttons at the same time, then
remove it.
OPENING THE HOOD
6. As shown in Fig 6a, push outwards to fully open
the hood. The stroller will have been complete-
ly assembled when it looks like in Fig 6b.
WARNING: Failure to read these instructions
could compromise the child's safety, read
them carefully.
TURNED SEAT
7. As shown in Fig 7a, push down the same but-
ton that you would operate to detach the seat,
then remove it and turn it.
BACKREST ADJUSTMENT
8. As shown in Fig 8a, push the backrest adjust-
ment button to raise or lower it. (3 positions).
ADJUSTMENT OF THE LEG REST
9. As shown in Fig 9a/9b, push the leg support
adjustment buttons located underneath it to
raise or lower it, then proceed adjusting it.
WHEEL OPERATION
10. Use of the swivel wheels: as shown in Fig
10a, turn the wheel lock devices (to the left
and right of the wheels) outwards, thus al-
lowing the wheels turn. As shown in Fig 10b,
turn the wheel lock devices (to the left and
right of them) inwards and the wheels will
lock in a straight position. Quick removal of
the wheels: as shown in Fig. 10c, press the
release button and at the same time pull the
FRONT wheel, applying a minimum force.
As shown in Fig. 10d, press the release but-
ton and at the same time push the REAR
wheel out, applying a minimum force. Use
the locking device: as shown in Fig 10e, to
lock the rear wheels, press the locking de-
vice down with the foot. When the indicator
(d) turns RED, this means that the brake
is enabled. To unlock the wheels, push the
locking device down with your foot. When
the indicator (d) turns GREEN, this means
that the wheel brake has been disabled.

WARNING: Push the stroller back and forth
to make sure the brake has been correctly
enabled.
USING THE RETENTION BELTS
11. Fastening: first, insert the buckles connect-
ed to the retention straps of the child's
waist (C & D) in the corresponding hous-
ings connected to the shoulder straps, as
shown in Fig 11a. Then insert the E & F
parts in the central button G, as shown in
figure 11b. When a CLICK is heard, it will
be completely inserted. Unfastening: press
the central button (G) to remove (E & F).
Adjusting the safety strap: as shown in Fig
11c, tighten or loosen the belt for the child's
comfort. Adjust the height of the shoulder
retention belt: the position (H) is suitable
for children aged over 6 months. Position (I)
is suitable for children under 6 months. To
change the height, insert the shoulder re-
tention strap inside the belt cover and insert
the end inside the backrest. Next, secure
the shoulder strap to the desired height.
WARNING: Always check that the child re-
straint system is always tightly closed and
adjusted when using the stroller.
ACCESSORIES
ASSEMBLY AND REMOVAL OF THE ADAPTER
12. Assembly: As shown in Fig. 12a, insert the
two adapters inside the housings in the frame
structure. The assembly is considered correct-
ly carried out when it appears as in Fig. 12b.
Disassembly: As shown in Fig. 12c, press the
release buttons on the adapter and remove it.
ASSEMBLY AND REMOVAL OF THE CAR SEAT
13. Assembly: As shown in Fig. 13a, insert the
ends of the car seat into the housings in the
adapters mounted on the frame structure.
When you hear a CLICK, they will have been
completely inserted.
Disassembly: Depending on the type of re-
lease button available on the modular system,
choose the most suitable method. Method A:
as shown in Figure A, pull upwards the release
button "a" on the back of the car seat, then lift
the seat as shown in Fig. 13b.
Method B: as shown in Figure B, press the side
button "b" downwards and at the same time
push the button "c" upwards, then raise the
seat as shown in Fig. 13b.
ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
OF THE CARRYCOT
14. Assembly: As shown in Fig. 14a, insert the
ends of the carrycot inside the housings lo-
cated in the adapter mounted on the modular
system structure. When you hear a CLICK,
they will have been completely inserted.
Disassembly: As shown in Fig. 14b, press the
release button located under the carrycot
and unhook it.
WARNING: choose the appropriate instructions
according to the carrycot purchased. Remove
the seat before installing the car seat.
HOW TO CLOSE THE MODULAR SYSTEM
15. As shown in Fig. 15a, fold the hood following
the direction indicated by the arrow. As
shown in Fig 15b/15c, press the backrest
adjustment button downwards and lower it
as far as possible. As shown in Fig. 15d, pull
the closing hook from both sides following
the direction indicated by the arrow. Then
push the handle downwards to unlock the
modular system frame. As shown in figure
15e, push the same pedal upwards with the
foot, which is used to fold the structure, so
that the structure will be released, then raise
the closure handle as shown in Fig. 15f. When
a CLICK is heard, the modular system will be
completely closed as shown in Fig. 15g.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean and maintain the modular system regularly
to eliminate any danger of accidental injury to the
child. Clean the seat with a brush and the remain-
ing parts with soap or neutral detergent. Regularly
inspect the modular system to identify defects
such as loose screws, damaged parts or broken
seams. Provide for xing the defects if necessary.
To avoid damage to the modular system, read the
instructions carefully before installing it.
