IGNITION FUNCTIONAL CHECK 2
Remove the ignition lead
from the piezo. Operate
the valve. Does a spark
jump from the piezo to the
valve body?
Replace the ignition lead
and retry.

Ensure there is no debris around the pilot assembly,
(e.g. coal, soot etc.) which could short the spark, clear the area.
Consult the users
instructions, retry.
Operate the valve to
light the pilot, does the
valve ‘click’?

electrode with insulated pliers.

the valve ‘clicks’?

Replace the combined
lead, retry.

Check the defective or damaged
control knob spindle or cam
operation. Check for correct
location of piezo components.
