Connection to the 220 V mains makes it possible to supply:
the 220 V current sockets
the refrigerator at 220 V
the automatic recharger for the auxiliary battery and
the engine battery via the battery charger tted in the
vehicle (electric control unit). The charging current is
adapted to the battery charge level. It is therefore im-
possible to overload it.
All the electrical functions inside the body are controlled
by the electronic control unit. The electrical consumers are
supplied by the auxiliary battery.
For your safety, never carry out operations
on electrical components before the cur-
rent has been switched o.
When the engine is switched o and noth-
ing is connected to the 220 V mains, avoid
supplying the electrical consumers with the
12 V battery for a prolonged period because
the auxiliary battery energy reserves only
last for a limited period.
To prevent the auxiliary battery from becoming run down
quickly, the refrigerator only receives a 12 V supply when
the engine is running.
connectIon to 220 v maInS
The vehicle can be connected to the external 220 V mains.
The connection point should not be further than 20 me-
tres away from the motorhome.
The external 220 V power supply should be protected by a
30 mA safety (cut-out) switch.
220 v maInS external connectIon caBle
In accordance with regulation CEI-64/8 part 7, section 708,
the 220 V mains connecting cable should have the follow-
ing specications:
The plug and the socket must have an earth contact in
compliance with standard CEI 23-12.
The cable should be exible, type H07 RN-F or the
equivalent, with a protective conductor and it should
have the following specications:
max. length 25 m
min. cross-section area 2.5 mm²
“yellow/green earth wire
“blue” neutral wire
“brown live wire
12 v poWer Supply
The 12 V power is supplied by the auxiliary battery locat-
ed in the cab under the passenger seat according to the
models or in the right dinette seat.
The auxiliary battery supplies the interior lighting and all
the systems and accessories in the living area of the vehi-
cle.
The vehicle battery, on the other hand, supplies only the
original chassis electrical components. While travelling,
the two batteries are recharged by the alternator which
also supplies the refrigerator at 12 V.
When the engine is switched o the two batteries are au-
tomatically disconnected from one another by a relay and
the 12 V refrigerator is turned o. This ensures that the ve-
hicle battery is not run down on account of the consumers
in the living area, thereby making sure that the engine will
start. The battery charge is displayed in the control panel.

220 v dIStrIButIon panel
Before any operation on the panel, place
the master 220 V switch (cut-out Fig. 16) at
“0” (OFF) and disconnect the plug from the
220 V mains.
Make sure that the connectors are correctly connected
to avoid damage to the distribution panel.
Turn the 220 V master switch to “0” (OFF) to remove the
power supply from the entire 220 V system.
Only connect and disconnect the 220 V mains with the
master switch in position “0” (OFF).
In the case of a repair to the automatic circuit breaker
(cut-out) switch, always check and repair the fault be-
fore turning the current back on.
Battery charger
Check that the recharging is correct via the control
panel.
The battery charger can remain permanently connect-
ed to the 220 V mains.
Keep the battery charger compartment dry and ven-
tilated.
The battery charger only works and supplies a current
when it is connected to the battery.
tank SenSorS
To prevent sediment and deposits, do not leave water in
the tanks for long periods, especially in the grey water col-
lection tank.
