gaS cylInderS
The removable cylinders are housed in a dedicated, ven-
tilated compartment, only accessible from the outside of
the vehicle, that is fully insulated from the passenger com-
partment. Always check very carefully that the air grilles
for the cylinder holder compartment are completely clear.
Items other than the actual cylinders should
not be stored in the cylinder holder com-
partment.
Secure the cylinders vertically in the compartment us-
ing the dedicated belts so they cannot rotate.
Close the main valve before removing the pressure ad-
justment device or the hose from the cylinder.
Tighten the pressure regulator ring nut manually on
the cylinders, only using the spanner for the nal tight-
ening.
The pressure regulator ring nut has a left
hand thread and should therefore be turned
anticlockwise to tighten it.
The gas coming from the removable cylinder that has a
closing valve reaches the appliances passing through a
pressure reduction unit and a distribution control unit
with several taps, one for each appliance, located in-
side the kitchen units or in a cupboard.
Each consumer has a thermocouple safety valve which
stops the gas from escaping if the ame accidentally
goes out.
When the vehicle is left parked, all the appliances oper-
ating on gas should be carefully turned o. Also, always
close the valve on the cylinders and the taps for the
control unit inside the passenger compartment.
hoW to replace the gaS cylInderS
1. Close the main valve on the cylinder, turning the knob
clockwise. The direction of rotation of the knob for
closing the valve is on the knob.
2. Undo the gas regulator ring nut (left hand thread) in a
clockwise direction using the special spanner and de-
tach it from the cylinder valve.
3. Release the fastening belt and extract the cylinder from
the compartment.
4. Place the full cylinder in the compartment and secure
it using the fastening belts.
5. Replace the pressure regulator seal with a new one.
Many cylinders have a new seal tted in the cylinder
ller cover which must be torn away.
6. Tighten the pressure regulator on the main cylin-
der valve, tightening the gas regulator ring nut (left
hand thread) in an anti-clockwise direction (left-hand
thread).
The seal for the cylinder pressure regulator
should be replaced with a new one every
time the pressure regulator ring nut is loos-
ened or undone completely.

When a blown fuse has to be replaced, switch o the
