checks before you set off
Carry out the following checks to ensure
safety for occupants and vehicle eciency
before setting o. Follow the manufactur-
er's instructions shown on the respective
Owner Handbook for the part related to the
chassis.
engIne check
Carry out all the checks on the uid levels recommend-
ed by the manufacturer of the chassis, listed in the Owner
Handbook.
tyre check
Check the ination pressure with cold tyres and the wear
and the state of the tyres, following the instructions from
the manufacturer of the chassis listed in the Owner Hand-
book.
Before setting o each time and, in any
case, at regular intervals, check the tyre
ination pressure using the gures in the
Owner Handbook for the manufacturer of
the chassis.
In particular, even if the vehicle is fully
loaded, it is very important to carry out
this check with reference to the "full load"
pressure: insucient tyre pressure may
make the vehicle unstable causing possi-
ble loss of control by the driver or cause
the tyres to explode.
BrakeS check
Check the level of the brake uid, following the instruc-
tions appearing in the User and Maintenance manual of
the vehicle manufacturer. As soon as you start o, check
that the brakes are working properly and evenly.
Carry out this check in a safe place so to not
endanger other road users and without pas-
sengers on board.

Dipped beam headlamps and main beam headlamps
Front and rear direction indicators

Brake lights
Reversing lights.
Battery check
Check that the engine and auxiliary batteries are charged.
If the control panel indicates insucient voltage, recharge
them completely before setting o.
devIce check
After storage, make sure that the main devices are work-
ing properly, namely: refrigerator, heating, boiler, electrical
system, water system.
exterIor checkS
Carry out all the external checks listed be-
low every time before starting o even for
short distances.
Television aerial retracted (if present)
Awning completely retracted (if present)
220 V mains cable disconnected

traces of your stay behind.
