the first journey
The vehicle comes with two sets of keys (for the ignition,
doors, aps and llers). Always keep a spare key not in the
vehicle.
Check the tightening of the wheel bolts
after driving 100 km the rst time you use
your motorhome. Later on, the tightening
of the bolts should be checked approxi-
mately every 5,000 km.
To prevent anomalous tyre wear, it is ad-
visable to have the front wheel toe-in of
the vehicle measured in running condi-
tions at the owner's own expense. EL
NAGH will not be liable in case of prob-
lems or damage deriving from omitted
controls.
payload
The total permitted weight, fully laden, must never be
exceeded for any reason whatsoever.
The weights on the type-approval plate refer to Euro-
pean Directive 95/48/EC and UNI standard EN 1646-2.
The kerb weight includes the weight of the basic ve-
hicle with no load, the driver, fuel, lubricants, coolant,
tools, gas cylinders for domestic use and the white wa-
ter tank. Some models have a limit on the white water
load (see the label inside the vehicle, where tted). The
drinking water system conforms to 10/2007 technolo-
gy (standard 2002/72/EC).
The payload is determined by the dierence between
the total permitted weight and the kerb weight. It in-
cludes the equipment, the number of passengers de-
ned by the manufacturer without the driver, person-
nel eects, load in external lockers and on the roof.
The payload cannot exceed the type-ap-
proved weight given in the vehicle registra-
tion certicate.
All the vehicle weights and loads in no load conditions,
in compliance with Directive 95/48/EC, have a toler-
ance of ± 5%.
The weight of non-standard accessories is not included
in the kerb weight.
Accessories and additional equipment limit the useful
load in proportion to their weight.
An excessive load and insucient tyre ina-
tion pressures can lead to the tyres to burst
and the driver subsequently losing control
of the vehicle.
Follow the instructions in the vehicle registration cer-
ticate, also paying attention to the loads on the axles.
In order not to change the geometry of the vehicle and
its handling specications as a result, loads should be
placed at the lowest possible point (which is located
directly above the vehicle oor).
The driver is responsible for respecting the
maximum loads given in the type-approval
documents and the Highway Code.
