REMARKS OF PRIVACY ZONE
Some remarks on privacy zone operation are given in this section.
• Privacy zones can be programmed (and therefore the menu can be opened) in optical zoom situations only. The
privacy zones work also in digital zoom conditions.
• The privacy zone rectangle will move on the screen when panning and tilting. Zoom will expand or contract the
rectangle.
• It is suggested to use privacy zones slightly larger than the area to be masked.
• Privacy zones can only be rectangular or square, but several rectangles can be superimposed to mask the area
as required.
4.5.5.6 MASK COLOR submenu of FUNCTION PROGRAMMING menu

WHITE/RED/GREEN/BLUE/CYAN/
YELLOW/MAGENTA
This option allows to define the colour or the kind (mosaic) of
the desired mask pattern.
SEMI-TRASPARENCY ON/OFF
If enabled (ON), this function allows to enhance the
transparency of the masked zone, that becomes
semitransparent.
The function is not active with Mask Color MOSAIC.
4.5.5.7 ALARM PROGRAMMING submenu of FUNCTION PROGRAMMING menu
The menu allows to select the alarms that can be activated by the alarm board present in the POWER BOX or the
alarms present on a remote additional board.
Option Value Explanation
CHANNEL NUMBER 1/16
This option allows to select the alarm contact to be activated. 16 alarm contacts are
available only using two alarm cards.
LABEL EDIT
This operation allows to give a name to the stored alarm contacts. Press twice IRIS+
to display the screen where it is possible to give a name to the selected contacts.
LABEL DISPLAY ON/OFF
If set in ON, this option allows to display on the monitor the previously stored name of
the alarm contact that became active after an event.
ACTION SETUP
Select this option and press the button IRIS+ to go to the respective submenu, where
it is possible to set the activation parameters (see below).
CHANNEL ENABLE ON/OFF
If set in ON, this option enables the previously described functions.
