Adaptacion de recetas
convencionales para el microondas
Si Vd. quiere modificar recetas
probadas para adaptarlas al
microondas, entonces debe observar lo
siguiente: Reduzca los tiempos de
cocción en un tercio hasta la mitad.
Oriéntese por las recetas indicadas en
el presente libro. Alimentos con altos
contenidos de líquido, como carne,
pescado, aves, verduras, frutas,
guisados/ estofados y sopas, se
pueden preparar sin problema alguno
en el horno de microondas. En el caso
de alimentos con bajo contenido de
líquido, como platos ya preparados, se
debe mojar la superficie antes de
calentar o cocerlos. La adición de
líquido a alimentos crudos a brasear se
debe reducir aproximadamente a dos
tercios de la cantidad de la receta
original. Si es necesario se puede
agregar líquido durante la cocción. La
adición de materia grasa se puede
reducir notablemente. Una pequeña
cantidad de mantequilla, margarina o
aceite es suficiente para darles sabor a
los platos. Por lo tanto, el horno de
microondas es excelente para preparar
alimentos con poco contenido de grasa
dentro de un plan dietético.
Sopa de cebolla
Utensilios: Fuente con tapa (volumen: 2 l)
4 tazas soperas (200 ml)
Ingredientes
10 g de mantequilla o margarina
100 g cebollas, en rodajas
800 ml de caldo de carne
sal, pimienta
2 rodajas de pan
40 g de queso rallado
1. Engrasar el recipiente, añadir la cebolla
en rodajas, el caldo y sazonar. Tapar y
cocinar.
9-11 min. 900 W
2. Tostar las rebanadas del pan, cortarlas
en dados y distribuirlas en las tazas
soperas. Verter la sopa sobre éstos y
poner el queso por encima.
3. Colocar los recipientes en el plato
giratorio y cocinar.
6-7 min. Grill
