Chapter 6 How Turfmow 1000 works
Case 2: the mission has been manually stopped and the robot will enter the Standby mode
(page 36).
Case 1: Alarm mode
When the robot encounters a problem, such as a cutting head that is blocked, it will register
an alarm (page 130) and enter the inactive state. This requires manual intervention from the
user.
When the cause for the alarm has been corrected, the user can manually clear the alarm
and the robot will then enter the Standby state (page 36).
If no intervention takes place, after some time the robot will switch itself off and enter the
OFF state.
Case 2: Standby mode
The robot will enter the Standby state if,
the autonomous mission has been stopped due to an external command,
an alarm situation has been corrected and the alarm cleared by manual intervention,
it is manually switched ON.
The robot will leave the Standby state when a command is issued. It will then enter the Self
test mode (page 36) before recommencing any activity.
Self test mode
Whenever the robot has been in the Standby mode it will perform a self test, to check the
integrity of the entire system (including electronics, sensors, mechanics and software).
When the result of the self test is successful, it will resume the autonomous working state.
If the result of the self test is NOT successful, it will register an alarm. This will then require
intervention to clear the alarm (page 130).
OFF mode
The robot will be in the OFF mode when:
it has been manually switched OFF,
an alarm situation has not been corrected after a certain period of time. The amount of
time depends on the level of charge in the battery.
An intervention is required to switch the machine ON again.
6.3 Service state
Demo mode
In Demo mode the robot will operate without taking the peripheral wire into account. This can
be used to demonstrate the performance of the machine before the wire has been installed.
Demo mode is activated from the Technician's menu (page 114).
