Great food starts
when you are a baby.
40 recipes for your baby to discover new tastes and avours.
Healthy and careful eating at an early age is of
fundamental importance for all-round wellbeing, not
only during childhood and adolescence, but also in
adulthood.
That is why the right food education, the right nutritional
balance and a varied diet, consistent with baby’s needs
in the various stages of development, are essential
to ensure that your baby grows up healthy; but it is
also important that baby develops a positive attitude
towards food that leads him to enjoy a wide range of
food, without refusing any but also in moderation, acting
favourably also in preventing any future eating disorders.
In particular, the most recent studies emphasise the
focus on education about taste at an early age, from
weaning, with the aim of leading baby to appreciate the
natural taste of healthy food and therefore to choose it
spontaneously even when older.
It is therefore important to present baby, both during
the start of the weaning phase and in the future, with
food made of fresh and varied ingredients, which make
him used to authentic flavours and different taste
alternatives. This way, your baby will learn to appreciate
the genuine goodness of fresh foods with natural taste,
and will be able to recognise and enjoy them.
The recipes suggested by this book are a starting point to
prepare tasty and wholesome food, easy to make using
fresh ingredients selected by mum: from the simplest
recipes, ideal during the initial weaning stages, to grown
up” ones, dedicated to children aged three and above.
We hope that these recipes will be a useful base for mum
to create, lovingly and inventively, many more original
recipes to help your baby grow… with gusto!
