INSTANT START
If you would like to heat up food or a drink briefl y on maximum
microwave power:
• Start the microwave immediately by pressing the INSTANT/
START button.
• Cooking begins immediately, with every further press of the
button increasing the cooking time by 10 seconds.
• From 5 minutes the cooking time is increased by 30
seconds with each press.
• The microwave works at 100% power.
Automatic Cooking
With the help of the automatic programme you can cook certain
quantities of food automatically. Please proceed as follows:
1. Press the PAUSE/CANCEL button.
2. Turn the dial in an anticlockwise direction and select the
desired automatic program. Please see the following table
for the possible settings.

You can steam approx. 450g of fi sh.
Wash and bone the fi sh, making a
few incisions into the skin. Select a
fl at plate. Allow the fi sh to stand after
cooking for a further 2 minutes.

*) Please use only microwave popcorn in bags.
3. To start cooking press the INSTANT/START button.
Automatic Defrost
In order to defrost frozen meat, poultry and seafood automatical-
ly, please proceed as follows:
1. Press the PAUSE/CANCEL button.
2. Select one of the defrost programmes by pressing the
DEFROST button repeatedly:
d1 Defrosting meat from 0.1 – 2.0 kg
d2 Defrosting poultry from 0.2 – 3.0 kg
d3 Defrosting seafood from 0.1 – 0.9 kg
3. Set the desired weight using the rotating knob.
4. Press the INSTANT/START button to start.
After the time has elapsed the device switches off and END
appears in the display. Then take out the food.
Grill
For grilling please use the grilling grid. Use suitable heatresistant
tableware or place the food to be grilled directly on the grid.
It is not necessary to „pre-heat“ the grill as the infrared grill
produces radiation energy immediately.
To grill and gratinate food, proceed as follows:
1. Press the PAUSE/CANCEL button.
2. Press the GRILL/COMBI button.
3. Set the desired grilling time between 10 seconds and
60 minutes using the rotating button.
4. To start cooking press the INSTANT/START button.

1. Press the PAUSE/CANCEL button.
2. Press the GRILL/COMBI button once, twice or three times.
3. Set the desired cooking time between 10 seconds and
60 minutes using the rotating button.
4. To start cooking press the INSTANT/START button.
Tips on Combined Operation
If you prepare food using the combined microwave-grill functions
you should note the following:
For large, thick foods such as roast pork the microwave time is
correspondingly longer than for small, fl at foods. However, in
the case of the grill it is the other way round. The closer the
food is to the grill, the faster it turns brown. This means that
when large joints are prepared using combined operation the
grilling time may be shorter than for smaller joints.
Please use the grid for grilling in order to achieve rapid and
even browning. (Exception: large, thick items of food are grilled
directly on the rotating plate!)
