SAFETY SYSTEMS:
TEMPORARY BLOCKING
:
The safe will be temporarily blocked after three attempts to open it with the wrong code (the red led will light); the safe will remain
inoperable for 1 minute.
At the end of this interval the red led will switch off and a new code can be set; if an incorrect code is entered again the safe will block
for another minute, and so forth until the correct code is entered: now the door can be opened and the block timer is reset.
TAMPER SIGNAL
:
If, on entering the correct code the red led lights for 1 second before the green led, this indicates that a previous attempt has been made
to open the safe with the wrong code.
N.B.: The block and tamper signals are activated only if the incorrect codes detected are composed of a minimum of four and a maximum
of 12 digits. Otherwise no signals are generated.
WARNING:
POWER SUPPLY:
Use four 1.5 V alkaline batteries, “AA” size, for the internal power supply. Do not use any type of battery carrier nor the 9V battery internally
(this is only suitable as an external power supply).
Using flat batteries, an insufficient number of batteries, batteries with oxidised contacts, etc., may result in a general safe malfunction.
It will therefore be necessary to supply the correct amount of power to the safe as illustrated in “DIRECTIONS FOR USE”.
It is good practice to change the batteries at least once a year.
