components
COMPRESSOR HIGH PRESSURE VALVE
Protects the compressor against over-
pressure. The valve closes automatically
when the difference between suction and
discharge pressure reaches 40 bar.
COMPRESSOR MOTOR PROTECTION
Protects the compressor motor against
winding overheating. Automatic reset.
HIGH PRESSURE SWITCH
Manual reset, standard feature. Trips as
soon as the discharge pressure reaches
27.5 bar.
LOW PRESSURE SWITCH
Automatic reset, standard feature. Trips
and stops the unit as soon as the suction
pressure drops below 2.7 bar.
VERY IMPORTANT: Do not bypass or
vary the protection device setting, since
unit damage may result and the
guarantee would be invalidated.

Necessary checks/precautions
before start-up
• Make sure that all the electrical
connections are properly tightened.
• Ensure that the unit is level and well-
supported.
• All panels should be fitted and firmly
secured with the corresponding screws.
• Make sure that there is sufficient space
for servicing and maintenance purposes.
• Ensure that there are no refrigerant leaks.
• Confirm that the electrical power source
agrees with unit nameplate rating.
• Make sure that compressors float freely
on the mounting springs.
WARNING:
The compressors are mounted on
vibration isolators. Do not loosen or
remove the support mounting bolts.
The actual start-up should only be done
under the supervision of a qualified
refrigeration mechanic.
Punti da controllare prima dell’avviamento
• Non avviare le unità prima di aver svolto
le seguenti operazioni.
• Devono essere completate tutte le
operazioni di connessioni elettriche.
• Assicurarsi che l’unità sia a livello e ben
fissata.
• Tutti i pannelli devono essere fissati
saldamente con le loro viti.
• Assicurarsi che ci sia spazio sufficiente
per la manutenzione.
• Assicurarsi che non ci siano perdite di
refrigerante.
• Controllare che la tensione fornita sia la
stessa riportate sulla targhetta.
• Controllare che il compressore possa
fluttuare liberamente sugli ammortizzatori.
ATTENZIONE:
I compressori sono montati su ammor-
tizzatori. Non allentare o rimuovere
bulloni di fissaggio.
L’avviamento deve sempre essere fatto
sotto la supervisione di un tecnico specializ-
zato in climatizzazione.

VALVOLA DI ALTA PRESSIONE DEL
COMPRESSORE
Protegge il compressore contro le
sovrapressioni. La valvola si chiude
automaticamente quando la differenza tra
la pressione di aspirazione e mandata
raggiunge i 40 bar.
PROTEZIONE DEL MOTORE DEL
COMPRESSORE
Protezione termica sugli avvolgimenti.
Riarmo automatico.
PRESSOSTATO ALTA PRESSIONE
Riarmo manuale, standard. Blocca l’unità
quando la pressione di mandata raggiunge
27.5 bar.
PRESSOSTATO BASSA PRESSIONE
Riarmo automatico, standard. Blocca l’unità
quando la pressione di aspirazione scende
a 2.7 bar.
MOLTO IMPORTANTE: Non cavallottare
o variare la taratura della protezione,
poiché l’unità si potrebbe danneggiare e
farebbe cadere la garanzia Carrier.
