7.4 Closed hot water circuit
with completely submerged 'Profi W' heating insert and
oil/gas boiler (central heating)
Punkt 7.1 Abb. 1
Connection example, depending on type
of local heating system
The Federal Immission Control Ordinance
(BImSchV) demands a minimum water volume
of 55 litres per kilowatt boiler output for central
solid fuel boilers.
* Rule of thumb for buffer tanks: 55 l/kW
(boiler kW output)

8. 1 General information:
Correct functioning of the heating insert depends on the
size and quality of the flue. The flue must therefore be
inspected for these points in accordance with local
regulations before installing the heating system
(DIN 18160 Sh. 1, ask sweep for details).
All openings leading into the flue (including chimney
sweeping access doors and condensate drains) must
close tightly!
During hot water mode the heat contained in the fuel
gas is also required to heat the water (50 l/80 l water
volume). This keeps the flue gas temperature constantly
below 400° C (stove with reversing stone). This allows
direct connection to the flue.
A connection via the secondary heating surfaces is also
possible on this boiler stove.
Use the lateral connections for this (stove without reversing
stone), because the flue gas temperature is higher hereat
approx. 500° C, which will allow secondary heating to be
utilised.
For hot water and hot air mode (without heat-up flap),
see Point 8.2 Fig. 2.
For hot water or hot air mode (with heat-up heat-up flap),
see Point 8.2 Fig. 3.

Fuel gas channel lateral from the boiler
stove through the reheater box to the flue

Our recommendation:
Installation of a switch-over flap for varying the flue
gas channel directly to the flue or across the reheater
box.
Hot water mode - Fuel gas channel
directly to the flue
Hot air mode - direct fuel gas channel
closed, fuel gas channel through
reheater box to the flue
