3.2 Electrical connections
B Observe current regulations applicable to power
connections, and use at least cable type H05 VV-…
(NYM-I…).
B Always route cables/leads through the preassembled
grommets and apply the strain relief supplied to protect
the system against the ingress of dripping water.
B Wiring preferably with single core cable. Provide the
cores with wire ferrules if flexible cable is used.
B Cables can be pulled off the contact strip for their
connection to the screw terminals. Colour and
mechanical coding prevent interchanging of cable
terminals.
3.2.1 Connection of the low voltage part with
BUS connections
B To prevent faulty functions: always wire in accordance
with the connection diagram. Never connect one BUS
cable to another.
The minimum permissible cable cross-section of the 2-
wire BUS connection is determined by the cable length:
B Route all LV leads separately from cables carrying
230 V or 400 V to avoid inductive interference
(minimum separation 100 mm).
B In case of external inductive interference, shield the
cables.
This screens the cables/leads from external influences,
such as HV cables, moving cables, transformer
stations, radio and TV appliances, amateur radio
stations and microwaves.
B When sensor leads are extended, apply the following
lead cross-sections:
