Connecting Plugs

1. Insert the foot controller plug, located between the foot controller

and the power supply plug on the cord, into the jack on the ma-

chine.

2. Insert the power supply plug into an electrical outlet.

CAUTION:

1. When changing the light bulb or when the sewing machine is not

in use, the power supply plug must be disconnected from the wall

socket to avoid electrical hazards.

2. For U.S.A. only

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the

other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to

fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit com-

pletely in the outlet, reverse the plug.

If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the

proper outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way.

Branchement des prises

1. Brancher la fiche de la pédale, située entre la pédale et la fiche

d’alimentation du cordon, dans la prise de la machine.

2. Brancher la fiche d’alimentation à une prise secteur.

PRECAUTION :

1. Lors du remplacement de l’ampoule ou lorsque la machine n’est

pas utilisée, la fiche d’alimentation doit être débranchée de la

prise secteur pour éviter toute décharge électrique.

2. Uniquement pour les Etats-Unis

Cette machine comprend une fiche polarisée (une broche plus

large que l’autre). Pour réduire le risque d’électrocution, cette

fiche est conçue afin d’être enfoncée dans une prise polarisée d’une

seule manière. Si la fiche ne s’enfonce pas totalement dans la prise,

la retourner.

Si elle ne s’enfonce toujours pas correctement, contacter un élec-

tricien qualifié pour l’installation de la prise nécessaire. Ne pas

modifier la fiche de quelque façon que ce soit.

Conexión de los enchufes

1. Conecte el enchufe del pedal, situado entre el pedal y el enchufe

Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una hoja más an-

cha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica,

este enchufe sólo encaja en una toma de corriente polariza-

da de una manera. Si el enchufe no encaja completamente,

dé la vuelta al enchufe.

Si aún así no encaja, póngase en contacto con un profesio-

nal cualificado para instalar la toma de corriente adecuada.

No modifique el enchufe bajo ningún concepto.

Conexão dos plugues

2. Insira o plugue de força CA numa tomada da rede elétrica.

1. Quando for trocar a lâmpada ou quando a máquina de costura não

estiver em uso, o plugue de força CA deverá ser desconectado da

tomada de parede para evitar riscos de descargas elétricas.

2. Somente para os E.U.A.

Este aparato possui um plugue polarizado (uma lâmina mais larga

que a outra). Para reduzir o risco de choques elétricos, este plugue

foi concebido para encaixar numa tomada polarizada de uma única

maneira. Se o plugue não se encaixar completamente na tomada,

inverta-o.

Se ainda assim o plugue não se encaixar na tomada, contate um

eletricista qualificado para instalar a tomada apropriada. Não mo-

difique o plugue de nenhuma maneira.
