Putting into operation
1. Before starting, make sure that the knob is positioned on 0 and that the plug is
not inserted.
2. Check the decanter. The blade block, the cover disc and the gasket must be
mounted in the right order.
See Overview of Components.
3. Place the decanter on the motor casing. The decanter must be positioned so
that the safety pin of the transparent cover disc is located on the surface of the
safety switch on the edge of the chromed casing.
4. Connect the plug to a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket.
5. Fill the ingredients into the decanter and cover with the lid. The lid must be
fastened tightly. The decanter must be held firmly during the mixing.
6. For constant mixing (continuous mode):
When operating in levels 1 or 2 snap the selector into the desired position:
Level 1 = low rpm
Level 2 = high rpm
Shift the selector to 0 to switch off the appliance.
7. For pulse mode (mixing at brief intervals) shift the switch to 0 position. The
switch snaps into place. The appliance is off now. Turn the switch now to position
P. The switch must be kept in this position for the desired interval. When the
switch is released, it returns automatically to 0 position.
8. Before putting the mixer away, wrap the cable around the slot on the motor
casing.
Cleaning
Always disassemble the mixer after use. Wash and dry all the parts of the decanter.
Warning: The electric plug must be removed before the mixer is taken apart!
All the parts of the decanter can be washed in the uppermost rack of the dishwas-
her.
After cleaning and drying the decanter must be reassembled so that the gasket is
located between the blade block and the decanter. See Overview of Components.
Before using each time the blade block must be screwed securely onto the decan-
ter.
Dry the external surface of the mixer base with a moist cloth.
